It starts where the first episode left off, with Inu Yasha wanting the Shikon no Tama from Kagome. Kaede tells Kagome
not to give him the ball and tries to protect her. Kagome begins to run but trips on bone, and Inu yasha attacks her. Shocked
Kagome yells, "You really tried to kill me!" The villagers shoot arrows at Inu Yasha in order to protect Kagome. Inu Yasha
cuts down two trees where the villagers are standing beneath and they run in fear. Kaede and a villager "talk" and she pulls
a necklace out from her shirt. A blow from Inu Yasha knocks Kagome down to the ground as she drops the ball. The necklace
in Kaede's hand starts to glow and the beads shoot towards Inu Yasha's neck. Kaede yells to Kagome to say something that
will restrain Inu Yasha. Shikon no Tama rolls onto a bridge as Inu Yasha chases after it. Then the word comes to Kagome,
"SIT!" She says it about four times and each time the necklace pulls him to the ground. He gets mouthy again and Kagome once
again tells him to sit sending him through the bridge down to the water below. Back in the village Kaede dresses Kagome's
wounds while they talk about Shikon no Tama. "What are you doing here?" Kagome asks Inu Yasha as she realizes he is there.
All he says is, "Hand over the glass ball." Kaede tells Kagome that he is a half demon and also reveals herself as Kikyou's
sister to Inu Yasha. While on a walk Kagome looks over at the villagers who are "worshiping her," so she runs. She comes
to a tree that Inu Yasha is sitting in. She throws a fruit at him and asks him to join her in eating. He doesn't eat, he
instead just watches her eat, being paranoid of course. She tries to assure him that the person he hates is Kikyuo not her.
Being his stubborn self he jumps back into the tree.
- "I am Kagome not Kikyuo."
-"You are stupid I don't care who you are! I will not show mercy on taking the Shikon no tama!"
-"Huh is that so? But when you run wild, I can just say 'sit'...(Inu Yasha falls from the tree.) Ah..sorry,sorry. Cancel
that."
Later by the fire, Kagome tries to sleep but thinks of her home and her family and misses them. It then goes to a shot of
a demon crow sitting on a branch plotting to get the jewel. Inu Yasha tries to shoo the birds away but the one has already
caught smell of the jewel. In the morning Kagome tries to find the well that she came from. Kaede is looking for Kagome,
worried that she might face another enemy that would be after Shikon no Tama. She sees the well but as soon as she thinks
of going towards it some thieves come and kidnap her. They take her to their boss as he has "ordered." The boss is a sickly
giant of a man and he wants the glass ball! He pulls out a sword and instead of hurting Kagome he swings at his "followers."
Inu yasha runs around looking for Kagome, calling her a stupid girl. The boss seems only to be a zombie as all he can say
is "Hand over the ball ...Shikon no tama." Kagome throws the ball out of the little house, hoping to distract the zombie-like
guy and asks the thieves to knock a whole in the wall, they soon say, "Boss it's not working." Kagome replies, Who are you
calling boss?" The Giant of a guy swings his sword toward Kagome when all of a sudden, Inu Yasha breaks through the wall
and blocks Kagome, breaking the sword. The guy falls to the ground, but alas that is not the end, as he stands up, there
appears to be a hole in his chest. Inside of the whole, three red eyes appear and the demon crow flies out. The crow flies
out of the hut and finds the Shikon no tama lying on the ground. While chasing it Inu Yasha takes a bow and some arrows,
and tells Kagome to shoot the bird, saying that Kikyuo was a master at archery. She shoots and misses, sending Inu Yasha
to fall to the ground. Due to the power of the jewel the crow begins to grow. She shoots and misses again. The bird snatches
a child, and Inu Yasha slices the bird into pieces. The child falls into the water below. Kagome jumps into the water to
rescue the child as Inu Yasha looks for the jewel. The bird reforms and flies out of the water. The bird's foot is still
attached to the child, and Kagome has an idea. She ties the foot to an arrow and shoots it at the bird, thinking that the
foot would go directly back to the bird. She hits the bird destroying it but also she hit the jewel cracking into a million
pieces. The shards shoot off into every direction. Inu Yasha and Kagome find a piece of the jewel after destroying the head
of the crow. Kagome says that it is a piece of Shikon no tama and the episode ends with Inu Yasha screaming WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!
